Medical Bearing Cooperation Case
Deepening Our Expertise in Medical CT Main Bearings
Long-Life, Low-Noise Solutions for Advanced Imaging Equipment

Industry Experience
Medical Bearings Since 2007
Industry Experience and Product Portfolio
Since entering the medical bearing market in 2007, we have accumulated nearly two decades of experience in this field. Our dedicated development of main bearings for medical CT systems began six years ago. Focusing on three major product categories - high-precision crossed cylindrical roller slewing bearings, double-row angular contact ball slewing bearings, and four-point contact ball slewing bearings - we continue to provide high-precision core rotary components for medical imaging equipment.

Our Core Advantages in CT Bearings
Load Characteristics of CT Bearings: The bearing is installed vertically with the inner ring rotating, and must withstand radial loads, axial loads, and tilting moments. Our core advantages in CT bearing products are as follows:
Design Optimization
Distinctive Design Philosophy
Conventional bearing design generally optimizes internal parameters with maximum load-carrying capacity as the primary objective. For CT main bearings, however, the operating requirements include high speed, low noise, high precision, and long service life. While ensuring sufficient load capacity and service life, we therefore make vibration and noise reduction a key design optimization objective.
Hardening Technology
Proprietary Technology
By improving the induction hardening coil and quenching process, we ensure consistent raceway surface hardness. This effectively addresses the impact of raceway hardness variation on the operating stability of high-speed bearings and improves bearing reliability. This process is proprietary to our company.
Precision Processing
Raceway Profile Control and Superfinishing Technology
Through continuous process development and practical experience, we have accumulated extensive baseline data for CT main bearing rings, including heat-treatment hardness, deformation, ground raceway profile geometry, raceway roughness, matched internal clearance, finished-bearing noise, and friction torque.

Testing and Traceability
Finished-Bearing Noise and Vibration Testing Technology
We have established a dedicated low-noise test laboratory and, in cooperation with a well-known domestic university, developed a test rig specifically for medical bearings. The system can measure bearing vibration, noise, and starting friction torque under load and at different rotational speeds. Test results are transmitted synchronously to a computer system for recording and analysis. All records are stored chronologically, ensuring full-life-cycle traceability of core technical indicators such as noise and friction torque for every bearing delivered.

Differentiated Design Objective
Unlike conventional bearings, vibration and noise reduction are treated as primary optimization objectives.
Proprietary Hardening Technology
Ensures consistent raceway surface hardness and minimizes the effect of hardness variation on high-speed operating stability.
Extensive Process Data
Long-term manufacturing practice has enabled us to build a substantial database covering heat-treatment hardness, deformation, raceway profile geometry, and related parameters.
Testing Validation and Full-Life-Cycle Traceability
Dedicated testing capabilities include a specialized low-noise laboratory and a CT bearing test rig jointly developed with a university, enabling multi-condition simulation and traceable test data.
03 · Customer Application
Case Study
Here, we share a representative cooperation case:
Customer Requirements
Customer Requirements
Our customer is a medical equipment manufacturer specializing in the R&D and production of complete CT systems. For its new CT system, the main rotary bearing must meet demanding operating requirements: it must withstand complex combined radial and axial loads while maintaining extremely low operating noise despite its large diameter.
916 mm Outside Diameter
Our Solution
Based on the customer's equipment structure and actual application conditions, we recommended a double-row angular contact ball slewing bearing with an outside diameter of 916 mm. While providing high rigidity and load-carrying capacity, the design was also optimized for the continuous rotational characteristics of CT scanning.

Measured Performance
Key Bearing Performance
Low-Noise Operation: At a rotational speed of 120 r/min, the measured noise level remains consistently below 65 dB, providing a quieter CT scanning environment and improving patient comfort.
Extended Service Life: The customer initially required a service life of 2,000 hours. After multiple rounds of durability testing, this bearing achieved an actual service life of up to 5,000 hours - 150% above the original requirement - significantly reducing maintenance frequency and total life-cycle cost.
Stable Ongoing Supply
Mass-Production Delivery
This bearing has now entered a mature mass-production stage, with stable processes and consistent quality. We continue to provide reliable ongoing supply to support volume installation in the customer's CT systems.

Technical Expertise
Long Life, Low Noise and High Reliability
End-to-End Technical Expertise Supporting High-End Imaging Equipment
Nearly two decades of experience in medical bearings, combined with six years of dedicated development of CT main bearings, have enabled us to establish end-to-end technical capabilities in rotary components for high-end imaging equipment, covering design philosophy, core manufacturing processes, and testing systems.
With long service life, low noise, and high reliability as our core product values, we focus on three major bearing categories. Proprietary hardening technology and superfinishing processes ensure bearing consistency, while dedicated test platforms provide full-life-cycle traceability. These capabilities not only demonstrate our technical strength, but also reflect our deep understanding of and active response to the medical imaging industry's demand for precision, safety, and quiet operation.
Quality proven by data; trust earned over time. We will continue to advance precision manufacturing of medical bearings and provide a more reliable rotational "core" for high-end imaging equipment.
